Privacy policy
Version of 14 October 2026.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Hubert Kulas. Contact for anything about your data: hello@billscopilot.com.
What we collect
- Form data: email, language, bill type, how you heard about us, and the tag of the link you came from (for example which group or ad).
- The bill you upload. It usually contains your name, address, supply point code (CUPS), consumption, contract terms and price. Please cover your bank account number (IBAN); if we see it, we don't store it anywhere.
Why, and on what legal basis
- To check your bill and tell you how much you can save: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and steps you ask for before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To contact you by email, only about this analysis: your consent. We don't call you unless you ask us to.
- To count visits to the site: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not track you across sites. That is why the site has no cookie banner.
A person checks your bill. We don't use automatic text recognition or artificial intelligence to analyse it.
Who processes data for us
- Tally (Tally BV, Belgium): the form and storage of uploaded files.
- Google (Gmail): sending replies by email.
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework): aggregate visit statistics.
We don't sell data and don't pass it to energy or telecom providers. If you decide to switch, you give your details to the new provider yourself when you sign up on its website.
How long we keep it
We delete bill files and form data no later than 30 days after we reply. All that remains is a row with no contact details, such as the date, language, bill type, possible saving, and whether you switched.
Commissions
If you switch provider through our link, the provider pays us a commission. Your price does not change because of it.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict its use or to receive it in a portable form, and you can withdraw your consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before. Write to hello@billscopilot.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Spain the AEPD (aepd.es), in Poland the UODO (uodo.gov.pl).
